We are inside the Messina Straits. After some showers and shifty winds which have since decreased, we are now crossing "Scilla e Cariddi" quickly as it was known in Homer''s Odyssey the strait between Sicily and Calabria. At the moment, we are sailing with the wind on the beam and we don't need the little help from the tides that would propel us out of the Strait in the event of lack of wind.
