19 October 2009 - After the stormy Sunday, we sailed to Lampedusa very comfortably on reaching wind. This morning was good for some small repairs and a general clean up. After the "exotic lunch" (I don't exactly know what it was, but it tasted very good!) prepared by Tatiana, in the afternoon a small bird (very tired) "landed onboard" and Niky Mosca immediately recovered him from the deck, but he flew away scared by our movements.

It feels nice to see on our bow, the white rocks of Lampedusa, because the small island is the most southerly point of Italy and rounding the island by sail is not an opportunity that all sailors can have. Now we are gybing very close to the rocks and some local boats are coming to greet us. In a few minutes we will head to 67° direct to Comino: "Malta, DSK is arriving!"
